RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Care Assistant here, you work in a person-centered manner based on the user's needs, resources, and implementation plan. You play a central role in creating safety, participation, and a meaningful everyday life by supporting the user in maintaining their abilities and being active in their own care and support. The role suits you if you have a genuine interest in human care work and take pride in your professional role.

As a permanent contact person for care, you are expected to create and maintain good relationships with the user, their relatives, colleagues, and other stakeholders. You contribute to a holistic view where the user's life situation is at the center, and where good communication and collaboration are a natural part of the work.

You work both independently and in teams, taking responsibility for your tasks and contributing to a good working climate. Promoting a good work environment is a natural part of your role, where you show respect, engagement, and support your colleagues. Collegial collaboration and a professional approach permeate your work.

Your responsibilities include performing and participating in qualified nursing interventions delegated by licensed personnel, as well as carrying out social interventions that strengthen the user's quality of life. You are responsible for following the organization's routines and guidelines, as well as performing your duties with quality and safety.

Documentation is an important part of the job, and you are expected to document continuously and correctly according to current legislation and routines. You handle delegated tasks with responsibility and precision, actively contributing to ensuring safe and secure care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are an engaged and fantastic team within the Home Care services in Herrljunga Municipality, and now we are looking for you, our next colleague!

We are looking for you who are a trained Care Assistant with a strong interest in working with people. You are sensitive, humble, and engaged in your work, contributing to creating safety, quality, and a meaningful everyday life for our users. Collaboration is a given here, and we value a professional and respectful approach, both towards each other and those we serve.

You are responsible, have good collaboration skills, and a genuine engagement in your work. You value quality, care, and good service, and have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A professional certificate as a Care Assistant (protected title) is required, as is a B-driver's license, good driving skills, and good judgment in traffic. Since some users are most easily reached by bicycle, we would appreciate it if you were experienced with cycling.

To be considered for the position, you must also provide a valid extract from the Police's suspicion and criminal record register, as well as have BankId for logging into the municipality's systems.
