Nurse sought for medical and geriatric acute care

Are you a nurse who thrives in a varied acute care environment with a high medical focus and a broad patient group?

We are now recruiting licensed nurses for a longer assignment within medical and geriatric inpatient care during the autumn of 2026.

About the assignment

You will work in medical and geriatric acute care on wards with an internal medicine focus. The operations cover several wards with different medical profiles and close collaboration between units.

Typical duties include, among other things:

• Care of inpatients
• Medication management
• Patient assessments and monitoring
• Documentation and care planning
• Collaboration with doctors and other professions
• Leadership and prioritization within the care team

The operations work flexibly across several wards, which means that staffing may occur on different units within the clinic depending on operational needs.

Work environment

You work in a dynamic care environment where both acute and complex medical conditions occur. The assignment suits you who are flexible, confident in your professional role, and enjoy varying patient flows.

Work during days, evenings, nights, and weekends is included according to the schedule.

Period & scope

• Period: Week 36–48
• Scope: Approximately 471 hours
• Working hours according to schedule

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed nurse
• Have experience from acute care or medical inpatient care
• Are confident in independent assessments and prioritizations
• Have good cooperation skills and work in a structured manner
• Enjoy working in an operation with varying care needs and a high tempo

• Experience in internal medicine
• Experience in acute care in recent years

Requirements for presentation

The following documents need to be available for presentation:

• Updated CV
• Adult CPR training
• Two current references from the last assignment or employment
