ICU Nurse Wanted for Long-Term Assignment in Intensive Care

Are you a specialist nurse in intensive care looking for a longer-term assignment in a facility with high medical expertise and a strong team spirit?

We are currently seeking experienced ICU nurses for an assignment in general intensive care during the autumn of 2026.

About the Assignment

You will work in a general intensive care unit where advanced nursing care, medical technology tasks, and emergency interventions are a natural part of daily life.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Intensive care for critically ill patients
• Advanced monitoring and nursing care
• Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team
• Trauma and cardiac arrest response
• Emergency assessments and prioritization

You are expected to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration and communication within the team, which is central to the operation.

Work Environment

The facility offers a developmental work environment where structure, patient safety, and collaboration are in focus. There is also flexibility regarding scheduling and shifts in dialogue with the facility.

Period & Scope

• Period: Week 38–47
• Scope: Approximately 1,237 hours
• Working hours according to schedule; days/evenings/nights and weekends may occur

We are looking for someone who

• Is a registered nurse with specialist education in intensive care
• Has current experience from an intensive care unit
• Is confident in emergency situations and advanced nursing care
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Has good communication and collaboration skills
• Works in a structured manner and follows local routines and guidelines

Meritorious:

• Experience in trauma care
• Experience with cardiac arrest and emergency care

Requirements for Presentation

The following documents must be available for the presentation:

• Updated CV
• Specialist Nurse degree in Intensive Care
• Adult CPR certification
• Two current references from the most recent assignment or employment
