Nurse Wanted for Orthopedic Ward – Autumn Assignment

Are you a registered nurse with experience in orthopedic care or surgical inpatient care, looking for a developmental assignment during the autumn?

We are currently seeking several registered nurses for assignments within an orthopedic ward.

About the Assignment

You will work on a ward specializing in orthopedics, where both planned and acute care are provided. The role involves varying patient flows and close collaboration with various healthcare professionals.

Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Care for orthopedic patients
• Pre- and post-operative care
• Pain management
• Mobilization and rehabilitation support
• Medication administration
• Documentation and patient assessments

You will work together with nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, and other team members to create a safe and secure environment for patients.

Duration & Scope

• Period: Weeks 45–48
• Scope: Approximately 420 hours
• Working hours according to schedule; days, evenings, nights, and weekends may be required

We are looking for someone who

• Is a registered nurse
• Has experience in orthopedics, surgery, or inpatient care
• Is confident in making independent assessments and prioritizations
• Has strong teamwork skills and thrives in a team environment
• Works in a structured and patient-safe manner, even under high pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in post-operative orthopedic care
• Experience in rehabilitation work
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems in inpatient care

Requirements for Interview

The following documents must be available for the interview:

• Updated CV
• Valid Adult CPR certification
• Two current references from your most recent assignment or employment
