Do you want to work with advanced electronics where ideas are quickly turned into working prototypes? Do you enjoy combining electronics design, embedded development, mechanics, and energy systems in real products? We are now looking for an Electronics Engineer who wants to develop the next generation of connected and energy-efficient products together with an innovative tech company in Stockholm.

You will become part of a product development organization where you work closely with designers, engineers, researchers, and customers to develop future electronics products.

The role spans from early concept studies to finished prototypes and demonstrators. You will work broadly with electronics, embedded systems, energy management, and mechanical integration to develop innovative solutions for consumer products, wearables, and IoT devices.

The work is characterized by high freedom, fast iterations, and great variety. One day you develop a circuit board for a new product idea, the next day you build a prototype with 3D-printed components or work together with customers to develop technical solutions for future products.

You will become part of a small specialist team with significant influence on both technical choices and working methods.

• Design and develop electronic prototypes from idea to working demonstrator
• Work with electronics design and PCB layout
• Develop firmware and simpler software for embedded systems
• Integrate sensors, batteries, energy storage, and wireless communication
• Develop and optimize low-power systems
• Build test equipment, data loggers, and internal development tools
• Work with measurement, verification, and analysis of system performance
• Design enclosures and mechanical solutions using CAD and 3D printing
• Collaborate with customers on system architecture, integration, and prototype strategies
• Participate in technical workshops, demonstrations, and product showcases

• Have a few years of experience in electronics development, embedded development, or product development
• Have experience with electronics design and PCB development
• Have programmed in languages such as C, C++, or Python
• Have experience or interest in embedded systems and hardware-centric development
• Have worked with prototyping and product development from idea to working solution
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Battery systems, charging technology, or low-power systems
• IoT products and wireless communication (BLE, WiFi, or NFC)
• CAD tools such as Fusion 360 or similar
• 3D printing and rapid prototyping
• Embedded Linux, automation, or AI-assisted development

A person who genuinely enjoys building things.

You are curious, practical, and driven by a desire to understand how technology works in reality. You thrive moving between electronics, firmware, and mechanics, and find it just as fun to build a prototype as it is to solve technical problems together with colleagues and customers.

You are not afraid to test new ideas and understand that product development involves experimentation, iterations, and continuous learning. For you, this is a natural part of the innovation process.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant at our client's site. Our and the client's ambition is that after some time, you will be hired directly by the company.
