About the role

We are looking for you who want to work as a Paving Worker with us at Peab Asfalt during the 2026 season.

In the role of Paving Worker, you will be part of an engaged work team driven by seeing a project grow. You will work out in the field together with your colleagues, handling varied tasks within your area of work. Working as a paving worker means that both the workplace and working hours vary, requiring a certain degree of flexibility.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Paving work with machinery or manually
• Screed operator
• Rolling/Compacting
• Tack coating

The asphalt season is most intensive from summer until November, depending on the weather, and you will work longer hours during the peak season. This is compensated with paid leave from the end of the season until mid-February 2027.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have 1–3 years of experience in paving work.

The role of Paving Worker requires that you are responsible, engaged, and have good collaboration skills. We are looking for someone who is willing to work, enjoys learning new things, is driven by doing a good job, and is punctual. You have good ability to plan your work and solve problems that arise.

You will work together with others in a team, and you depend on each other to succeed. You naturally see your work as a team effort where you care about handing over a neat and well-executed job together with your colleagues.

You should have good physical fitness as the work involves heavy lifting, and you should enjoy working outdoors for most of the year.
