Workplace Description
Built in 1946, Abrahamsberg School is a municipal comprehensive school (grades F-9) in Bromma with approximately 600 students. We who work at the school strive to create the best possible study environment to provide a solid knowledge foundation for students as they progress to upper secondary school. Thanks to experienced and well-educated teachers, motivated students, and guardians with high expectations, Abrahamsberg School is a school with high academic results and a place where everyone enjoys being. Our vision is to be one of Stockholm's best schools in developing our students based on their individual prerequisites. The school's motto is Safety and Knowledge. Without safety, it is difficult to acquire knowledge, and knowledge provides safety.
Our school will undergo renovation during the academic years 2026/2027 and 2027/2028. During this period, we will operate our activities at St. Jacob's Gymnasium in Vällingby.
Job Description
You are a certified and qualified teacher in Physical Education and Health. The position is a temporary vacancy of 70% during the academic year 2026/2027, involving teaching in grades 4–6 as well as one class in grade 8.
You will be part of the working team for grades 4–6 and will collaborate closely with the subject teachers in Physical Education.
You should demonstrate good leadership qualities and have strong communication skills, creating positive relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
You are interested in developing your own profession and driving development initiatives.
