Your new job

Your duties involve care and nursing for the residents, such as personal care, daily tasks like cleaning and laundry, social stimulation, medication management, and various responsibilities. This work includes individualized assistance in all areas required to enable the resident to have as rich and normal a life as possible. The position also involves providing end-of-life care and palliative care. The role includes active contact person management, implementation plans, and social documentation. The values of elderly care and a health-promoting perspective and approach form the platform for how the work is organized and performed. The work aims to strengthen the individual's abilities and resources so that they experience their daily life as comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful.

In addition to the relationship with the resident, you collaborate closely with colleagues, coordinators, and unit managers. You also have contact with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and relatives in your work.

Your qualifications

• We are looking for you who are trained as a nurse assistant (undersköterska) and can provide a verified extract of "Protected professional title as nurse assistant".
• If you have previous experience working with dementia, this is an advantage.
• The work requires physical mobility as situations arise that cannot be predicted and must be solved in a way adapted to the situation.
• It is important that you, as an applicant, master Swedish in speech and writing, as the work involves much contact with residents, relatives, and colleagues, as well as written documentation.
• You have good computer skills and can use digital tools for documentation.

To succeed in the role of nurse assistant with us, we believe you are flexible and good at independently planning and performing your work. You are stable and have the ability to handle a busy everyday life and maintain calm even in unforeseen or acute situations. You also have good teamwork skills, good communication skills, and consider the best interests of the individual and the organization in your actions and decision-making.

Welcome to us

The elderly care home is located on Ekeforsvägen in a nature-friendly environment and consists of 43 apartments and a staff group of approximately 40 employees who work together to create a pleasant environment, provide good care, and work with respect for the residents' privacy.

Good to know

The recruitment is for a permanent position, full-time, with immediate effect or as agreed.

The working hours are scheduled for day and evening, both weekdays and weekends. Jönköping offers full-time as the norm, and we may appoint more positions, and an offer of employment at another unit may become relevant.
