Purchasing Manager for Metro Environment - Focus on Procurement and Supplier Management

About the role:
As a Purchasing Manager, you will work both operationally and tactically with procurement within contracting, operations, and FM services, where you will:
- Lead and conduct procurement processes (RFQ/RFP) within construction/projects, operations, and maintenance
- Ensure that requirements regarding quality, environment, and working environment (QEW) are integrated into the procurement process
- Develop and manage the supplier base based on performance, risk, and business goals
- Work closely with the operations organization to ensure that procured solutions are implementable and effective
- Be a key contact against the client, suppliers, and internal functions
Main responsibilities
- Plan and conduct procurement from an operational and tactical perspective
- Prepare request for quotation/proposal documents, specifications, and evaluation models
- Ensure that QEW, legal, and contractual requirements are included in procurements
- Conduct supplier assessments, negotiations, and contract signing in accordance with central processes
- Monitor contracts and supplier performance through KPIs and audits
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure the correct scope and level of procurements
- Handle deviations, risks, and improvement measures related to suppliers
- Contribute to the development of processes, working methods, and standardization within purchasing
- Identify efficiencies and development work in the supplier chain
Qualifications:
- Experience in purchasing/procurement within construction, property, and contracting (ABFF15, AB04 & ABT06)
- Good knowledge of operational and tactical purchasing
- Understanding of contracts, contracting law, and supplier management
- Experience working with QEW issues in procurement or delivery
- At least 3 years of work experience in a similar role
- Experience working systematically with documentation and follow-up
- Very good communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written
Meritorious:
- Experience with public procurement (LOU)
- Background in operational contracting or infrastructure
- Experience with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, and 55001)
- Experience from larger or international organizations

The position is full-time (100%) and permanent, with an initial probationary period of 6 months. Start date for the position, by agreement.
