The health center located in the archipelago municipality of Valdemarsvik, situated between Norrköping and Västervik, is now recruiting a Nurse/Community Nurse. We are responsible for approximately 7,000 registered patients, and the population triples during the summer months as Valdemarsvik is a popular holiday destination.

Job Description

We are looking for a nurse to join our wonderful team. We offer stimulating, independent, and varied work within primary care where you meet patients of all ages. The position primarily involves reception work and telephone advice via Tele-Q, as well as the opportunity to eventually be responsible for your own reception. We would appreciate it if you have experience and are comfortable working independently, while also having the ability to switch to teamwork with other professions such as assistant nurses and doctors.

Work Group

Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centers, four emergency centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the child health care unit, the vaccination clinic, 1177, and the general medicine education center. We operate a broad primary care service where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients in the final stages of life.

About You

You are a registered nurse/community nurse. Furthermore, you master Swedish in speech and writing, equivalent to level C1.

Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and a pleasant manner towards patients and colleagues. You are clear in your communication, flexible, and quality-conscious. Furthermore, you feel secure in your professional role, and working at a high pace at times is not a problem. We are looking for someone who adapts easily to changing circumstances and views change and development work positively. You take responsibility for your tasks and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
