Do you want to lead complex IT deliveries in a socially vital operation? We are now looking for an experienced Delivery Manager for a consultancy assignment at Kronofogden (the Swedish Enforcement Authority), where you will work closely with business operations, IT, and multiple delivery teams.

This assignment is for you who have experience leading teams within system development, maintenance, and lifecycle activities, and who thrive in a role where leadership, structure, technical understanding, and the ability to drive progress are central.

About the role

As a Delivery Manager, you will lead, coach, and follow up on one or more delivery teams working on new development, technically driven initiatives, and lifecycle activities. The teams consist of both employees and consultants, and you are responsible for creating clarity, structure, and a unified way of working within the teams' deliveries.

You work closely with section managers, delivery area managers, and other system areas to plan, coordinate, and follow up on development efforts within decided time and budget frameworks. The role requires a good understanding of system development, maintenance management, and project management, as well as the ability to handle dependencies, complexity, and multiple parallel stakeholders.

Examples of tasks

• Lead, coach, and follow up on the work of delivery teams
• Ensure progress in new development, technically driven activities, and lifecycle activities
• Plan, lead, and follow up on development efforts within time and budget frameworks
• Coordinate dependencies with other system areas and actors
• Work with ongoing steering, follow-up, budget, and forecasting
• Drive improvements in work processes for stable and efficient IT support
• Contribute to the dimensioning of resources and competence needs
• Report status, obstacles, and risks to the delivery area manager
• Support and lead specialist roles within IT, such as architects, scrum masters, requirements analysts, and test managers

We are looking for someone who has

• At least 3 years of current experience as a Delivery Manager within IT
• Experience leading teams working with system development, dependencies, complexity, and system maintenance
• Experience with structured follow-up, analysis, and actions related to delivery
• Experience with financial follow-up, budget, and forecasting
• Good leadership skills with trust-based and situational leadership
• Experience with agile methods, such as Kanban or Scrum
• Good technical understanding from a system development perspective
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience leading change and development work
• Experience leading teams developing in-house solutions
• Experience with leadership within a government agency
