About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in Malmö. You will work with the entire automation process – from requirements specification and design to commissioning and testing. The role involves technical leadership and mentoring within Instrumentation & Control (I&C), as well as the opportunity to influence working methods and future strategy.

Responsibilities

• Drive automation projects from start to commissioning
• Mentor and support colleagues within I&C
• Implement efficient working methods and contribute to decisions regarding automation
• Work from the office, remotely, and at customer sites

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer
• Relevant university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) or other post-secondary education
• Experience from the chemical industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, or food industry
• Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and/or ABB Control Builder
• Programming in Siemens PCS7 and/or ABB 800xA
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• SCADA (Zenon), OPC server, ISA88, Batch systems
• Commissioning experience within the process industry
