Medical Care Unit G
We are now looking for an engaged nurse for our geriatric clinic, with some duties on the care ward. Do you want to work in an organization where you are allowed to grow and take the initiative? Then this might be the job for you!
The Role of the Nurse
As a nurse, you have a holistic view of the patient's complex needs. You are responsible for nursing care, observation, medication, and collaboration regarding patients with varying care needs. We want the patient to be involved in their care. This means that information is a very important part of your work.
You care for the patient in the best way possible based on individual needs and proven experience in medical nursing. We work in teams with different professions, and together with other employees, you work towards good collaboration within the clinic.
As a nurse, you lead and distribute the work in the team. In this position, you will work at the geriatric clinic, which includes Parkinson's clinic, memory clinic, and osteoporosis clinic. You will also have some duties on Care Ward G.
At Medical Care Unit G, we treat patients with Stroke/TIA, neurological diseases such as epilepsy, migraine, etc., as well as acutely geriatric elderly people with multiple conditions.
Here, you will gain broad competence as we treat patients with many different complex diseases.

An opportunity for development for you as a nurse is to become a stroke coordinator through internal training. As a stroke coordinator, you coordinate direct admissions, together with ambulance, emergency, or healthcare centers, for persons suspected of having a Stroke/TIA.
The position is a permanent full-time employment. The position is located at the geriatric clinic during daytime and with some duties on the care ward. Start date is by agreement, but we would like you to start with us as soon as possible.
