Your responsibilities

As a care assistant in home care, you work to support people in their daily lives based on individual needs, resources, and goals. The work is based on the Social Services Act (SoL) and IBIC (Individual Needs at the Center), with a focus on strengthening the user's independence, participation, and security.

You provide support in several areas of life, including personal care, home environment, social interaction, and safety measures. Tasks may include help with personal hygiene, meals, mobility, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and escorting to activities or medical appointments.

The role also includes delegated health and medical care tasks such as medication management, sample collection, and observation of health conditions. You document in the organization's journal system and work based on implementation plans in close collaboration with colleagues, relatives, and other professional groups.

The work is varied and requires a professional approach, flexibility, and the ability to adapt support to the user's needs.

We are looking for you who

• are trained as a care assistant through the Care and Nursing Program or equivalent adult education
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• are secure, responsible, and have a good approach to people
• enjoy working independently while being a team player
• have experience in care and nursing as well as digital documentation, which is meritorious

Work in home care involves a lot of independent work out at the users' homes, which requires that you feel secure in your professional role. At the same time, we are a team within the entire elderly care system that helps each other and collaborates to give our users the best possible care and support.
