Do you want to help secure the quality of world-leading turbine components? As a Supplier Quality Engineer within Core Components, you will play a central role in ensuring that our most critical components maintain the highest quality – from supplier to finished product. You will work closely with suppliers and Commodity Managers, focusing on qualifying products and processes for reliable and sustainable deliveries. In your daily work, you will operate in an international and multicultural environment with close collaboration between different functions, both locally and globally. You will drive supplier development together with our interfaces and actively contribute to strengthening quality, delivery capability, and long-term relationships. The role offers you the opportunity to work with advanced technology and manufacturing in areas such as castings, forgings, machining, welding, or coating.
How you will make an impact
- Lead and drive supplier qualification as well as product and process qualifications for Core Components.
- Act as a project manager in quality and supplier development projects with many interfaces, both internally and externally.
- Ensure that suppliers work according to Siemens Energy Quality Management processes and use relevant tools to meet technical, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Work proactively through risk assessments, root cause analyses, and the implementation of long-term improvement measures.
- Monitor suppliers' quality and delivery performance and initiate and drive improvement programs as needed.
- Plan, conduct, and follow up on supplier audits, collaborating closely with global and local teams to secure common goals.
What you bring
- An engineering degree at bachelor's or master's level, or equivalent relevant work experience, preferably combined with project management experience.
- Experience in quality work within industry with good knowledge of methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA, and process management.
- Experience in supplier development, both through technical and production-related work as well as through reporting and monitoring suppliers' quality and delivery performance.
- Ability to drive work in a structured manner, prioritize the right issues, and see the big picture in complex contexts.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in handling many different stakeholders at various levels, both internally and externally.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Background from manufacturing environments such as castings, forgings, machining, welding, or surface treatment, or alternatively technical experience from R&D or production technology, is a clear advantage.
- Experience working in SAP is beneficial.
Please note that some travel within Europe is included in the role.

The team works closely with both local and global functions as well as suppliers worldwide, focusing on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. Together, you ensure quality and delivery security in world-leading turbine components.
