Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialized training in perioperative care and have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and that you enjoy working in a team. As a person, you are service-oriented, stable, and accommodating. What you will work with

Sunderby Hospital is Region Norrbotten's largest hospital and serves as a competence center for healthcare throughout Norrbotten. The hospital functions as a county hospital with specialist functions, but also as a local hospital for residents of Luleå and Boden.

We operate in most specialties, including surgery, orthopedics, urology, obstetrics/gynecology (OB/GYN), and ENT, as well as collaborating with external activities such as pain clinics and radiology. We are also in the process of launching robotic surgery within gynecology, urology, and surgery.

As an emergency hospital with 24/7 operations, this involves rotating shifts and weekend work. Here, we are constantly working on development through initiatives such as the Green Cross, improvement boards, BHK (Better Health at Work), and quality indicators.

What we offer you

  • A varied and stimulating job where your role is significant in collaboration with colleagues in the operating room team.
  • Doubled compensation for work during inconvenient hours. This is an initiative by Region Norrbotten for employees in 24/7 operations, making us unique among regions in Sweden.
  • Development and career opportunities where you get to help shape the future of health and care.
  • Health-promoting workplaces with access to fitness activities and fitness allowances.

We actively work for a balanced gender distribution and see diversity as a strength. We welcome employees with different backgrounds and work to ensure our workplace is accessible to everyone.

Selection and interviews take place continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

We welcome your application!
