About the role

Our client is growing and now needs to strengthen their team with a skilled Support Technician! As a 1st Line Support Technician at our client's office in Malmö, you will work closely with the 2nd Line team and other functions within the organization. The customer is always in focus, and you will provide them with the best possible service. Start date is to be agreed upon. Main responsibilities

As a 1st Line Support Technician, you will handle customer cases via both phone and email. You will generally experience a varying pace as your daily routine is driven by unique customer events, and everything you do must maintain high quality and service levels. It is important that you are reliable, proactive, and value good customer relationships. Since this is a first-line support role with a large number of customers having different contracts and SLA levels, it is crucial that you are skilled at troubleshooting with a hungry mindset when required. It is also important to follow established escalation procedures when applicable. The administrative part of the role is significant, and case documentation is a natural part of the daily work. A genuine interest in IT will facilitate your work every day. The work will be intense and challenging, but you will be surrounded by wonderful colleagues who are quick to laugh!

Working hours are primarily daytime, Monday to Friday, between 08:00–17:00. You will also work evening shifts for one week (including the weekend) approximately every other month, rotating within the team based on team size.

Who are you?

We prefer that you have post-secondary education in IT, preferably a vocational higher education degree. You can also apply if you have acquired equivalent IT skills independently, or if your drive to learn new things and your work ethic are high, as these are two very important factors for us. Perhaps you studied IT in high school and have since worked with similar tasks – this is also highly valued. However, a requirement is that you speak and write both English and Swedish fluently. It is an advantage if you have experience with and/or knowledge of Active Directory, Windows operating systems, Linux, basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), case management systems, troubleshooting, mobile devices, printer management, and Office 365.

To succeed in the role of 1st Line Support Technician, you must be structured, focused, and keep a clear overview of the situation.

Since our client works with security-classified customers, a comprehensive security clearance check will be conducted upon employment.
