About the position

Do you have experience with press braking and sheet metal bending? Are you a curious and technically skilled person with an interest in working in the manufacturing industry? Then you have come to the right place! We are looking for an experienced press brake operator with a sense for craftsmanship and precision.

The position is long-term and is a temporary-to-permanent recruitment via Montico, where the right candidate will be offered direct employment with the client after a period of temporary staffing. The position is full-time and scheduled during day shifts.

Job description

The tasks will be performed at our client's premises in Vimmerby, where you will operate a Darley press brake. Based on technical drawings, you will set up the press brake according to dimensions and angles. You will bend, shape, and adjust metal sheets of various thicknesses and material types according to specifications, followed by quality control of the processed sheet metal parts to ensure they meet requirements and tolerances.

Their press brakes offer high flexibility with a pressing force of up to 300 tons and the ability to bend parts with a length of up to 4 meters. You will produce recurring series as well as new incoming orders, including special jobs ranging from small to large, offering you significant variety in your work.

You will join a team of skilled and experienced colleagues, providing you with support and expertise outside your own area. Above all, you will receive a well-planned and welcoming introduction to your future workplace.

You are responsible and have an eye for detail to ensure that every task is performed with high quality and precision. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience in similar tasks.

As described above, we prefer that you have good physical fitness and enjoy physical work, as you will handle different types of sheet metal materials with varying thicknesses and weights.

Merits:

• Experience working with Darley or similar press brakes.
• Forklift/overhead crane certification.
• Good computer skills and ability to read technical drawings.
