About the Job

We are looking for you who desire a meaningful and varied job with the opportunity to make a difference within Safety Alarm and Home Care Night in the Western Hisingen urban area. Here, we always work in pairs to support each other in our work. The unit is based on premises on Svartedalsgatan and works on a schedule with working hours from 21:00 to 07:00.

Your duties include planning and performing qualified care and service work within home care, as well as responding to emergency safety alarms. You will meet many new people and must be prepared for unforeseen events, taking on significant responsibility. Your workplace is the care recipient's home, which means you must respect everyone's privacy. You should be able to provide good care and support based on the individual needs of the care recipient. Some health and medical care tasks may also occur following delegation from a nurse. You have access to a car to quickly travel between different parts of the district.

About You

Requirements

• We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant (undersköterska) and can present the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title, or alternatively prove that you were employed permanently when the new rules were introduced.
• Hold a Category B driver's license and have good driving experience in city traffic.
• Have good work experience in care work.
• Good IT skills.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

As a nursing assistant, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. The care recipient's needs are the starting point for your actions. Your communication is an important part of your work because you inform colleagues about important events, you have conversations with care recipients, and you need to document.

In the work, you take responsibility for your and the group's tasks with the care recipient's best interest in focus. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on how it went. The tasks vary depending on the care recipient's needs and the alarms that come in, so it is important that you can adapt yourself and your working methods to changed conditions.
