Your role

We are looking for a technician for the property area within operations service in Malmberget.

In this role, you work with the operation and maintenance of our fixed facilities and buildings, both above and below ground. You are responsible for ensuring functionality and safety in the external and internal environments of the facilities, with a focus on property-related aspects and personal safety.

The work involves planning, executing, and following up on inspections, controls, and measures related to our properties and facilities. You handle fault reports and work proactively to minimize deviations and improve the condition of the facilities over time.

You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, contractors, and other functions such as building engineers and project managers. The role involves a combination of field work and administrative tasks.

About the operation

Malmberget's ore processing is tasked with processing the ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are crushing, concentration, and pellet production. Together with the rest of the operations organization, we work to create safe facilities with a good working environment.

Within operations service, we are responsible for ensuring our facilities function over time with a focus on safety, availability, and longevity. Our group consists of technicians, engineers, and project managers who together create the prerequisites for the sustainable mining industry of the future. Working environment and safety are always in focus in everything we do.

What you bring with you

You take responsibility for your work and drive your tasks forward in a structured manner. You have good collaboration skills and thrive in contact with various internal and external parties. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and have the ability to handle problems that arise in the operation in an effective and thoughtful way.

In addition, we expect you to have:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Experience or education in construction, mechanics, or a similar field
• Category B driver's license for manual transmission
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
