About the IT Department

The IT Department is a central unit within Lerum Municipality, consisting of 9 dedicated employees working in various specialist roles. The entire team collaborates closely with the entire administration to ensure that IT solutions support the municipality's operations in the best possible way. We strive to be an innovative and reliable partner that contributes to the municipality's development and efficiency.

Responsibilities

The IT Department is looking for an engaged and technically skilled System Administrator who will be responsible for the administration and development of several of the municipality's central systems.

As a System Administrator in our IT Department, you will have a varied and developmental role. You will support system administrators in the operational units with IT expertise. You are responsible for the technical part of system administration, while the operational units are responsible for the business-related system administration according to the municipality's system administration model.

You will ensure that requirements are set and followed up with system suppliers to comply with current legislation. Here, you will collaborate with colleagues who are specialists in information security and IT security.

You will work closely with the municipality's external IT operations provider as a client/requirement setter, but also as support in dialogues between operations, IT operations, and system suppliers.

You will drive the implementation of technical solutions but also administer and develop them together with external partners.

Qualifications

• You have a university education in IT or an education we consider equivalent.
• You need to have in-depth IT competence with a strong understanding of how systems are structured and their components, as well as how IT environments are built with networks, servers, and IT security.
• You need to be solution-oriented and have the ability to find ways forward in complex challenges.
• It is also important that you work in a structured manner and can document your work clearly. Therefore, it is of great importance that you have very good skills in expressing yourself both verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
• The work requires that you are good at communicating and can build good relationships with others, both internally and externally. You need to be solution-focused, goal-oriented, pedagogical, and unpretentious.
• You are comfortable speaking in front of a larger group of people within your area of expertise.
