Your Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you will be a resource within the university's facilities management. The work involves various service tasks within the facilities area, such as:

  • Receiving and handling service requests, orders, and fault reports.
  • Carrying out relocations, furniture rearrangements, lamp changes, and similar tasks.
  • Handling mail, cargo, and internal goods deliveries.
  • Printing services as well as handling simpler maintenance and support for copiers and printers.

Your Qualifications

For the position, you are required to:

  • have a high school education or other education that the employer deems relevant for the position.
  • have several years of experience in service technician work within facilities management.
  • have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • hold a B driver's license.
  • be handy and technically skilled.
  • have knowledge of the Office package.
  • be accustomed to working in case management systems.
  • have a high degree of service orientation.
  • be orderly and capable of taking initiative.
  • be able to work both independently and in a team.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Merits:

  • Forklift license
  • Experience working in ServiceDesk Plus

Heavy lifting occurs in the work.

Your Employment

Type of Employment: Permanent. A six-month probationary period may apply.

Extent: 100%

Start Date: July 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Location: Borås.
