Specialist Nurse (Specialistundersköterska) for Specialized Housing and Home Care

We are looking for specialist nurses for specialized housing and home care. 2 positions.

Job Responsibilities

The role of a specialist nurse is to meet the individual's basic and specific care and nursing needs, both socially and culturally, as well as physically and psychologically.

The specialist nurse must protect and respect everyone's right to privacy and bodily integrity, self-determination, participation, and individual adaptation so that the individual can live a dignified life and feel well-being.

As a specialist nurse, you drive quality and development work. You mentor assistant nurses and train other healthcare personnel within your area of specialization.

The role is primarily governed by the Social Services Act (SoL), the Public Access and Secrecy Act (OSL), the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and general advice, as well as municipal steering documents.

The target group consists of persons who have been granted interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and/or health and medical care interventions according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

The role includes contributing to the development of yourself, your team, and the operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary supplementary education equivalent to 200 YH (University College) as a specialist nurse with a focus on, for example, elderly care, dementia, or palliative care. A driver's license within home care is a requirement.

You are flexible as a person and have good ability to collaborate. You have personal maturity.

Previous professional experience is meritorious.

Certificate as an assistant nurse and degree certificate for university college must be presented, as well as possibly a driver's license.

Interviews and Documentation

Interviews are held on an ongoing basis.

If you are called for an interview, you must be able to prove your identity in one of the following three ways:

• Passport
• National ID card showing citizenship
• ID card combined with a certificate of personal data showing citizenship

If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA, you must also show a valid residence permit and/or work permit in Sweden.

To ensure the safety of the users, a certificate of conduct for work with the elderly and persons with disabilities must be presented before employment. You order the certificate yourself from the Police, and the certificate must not be older than six months.
