Do you want to work with advanced metrology in socially significant projects? At Finspångs Tekniska, you will play a central role in ensuring quality and precision in our construction and infrastructure projects.

Your Role

As a Metrologist at Finspångs Tekniska, you plan, execute, and follow up on measurement tasks in our projects. The role combines operational work with coordination, quality assurance, and development within the measurement field.

In this role, you drive measurement work forward and ensure that the right resources and documentation are in place, in line with set goals and guidelines. The work also includes quality assurance of measurement data, self-inspections, and calibration of measuring instruments, as well as GPS measurements, calculations, and analyses within areas such as transformation relationships.

Furthermore, the role involves entering information into VA-banken and EttNoll, as well as creating models for machine control. Follow-up and documentation are handled continuously, including quantity regulation according to AMA/MER.

The role also involves participating in project meetings and, if necessary, leading and distributing work. You will also actively contribute to developing working methods and knowledge sharing within the field.

About You

We are looking for you who have relevant education or experience in metrology, geodesy, or a related field. You have experience with measurement work in construction and infrastructure projects, and it is an advantage if you have previously worked within the water and wastewater sector (VA).

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are proficient in working with AutoCAD and have experience with Leica measuring instruments and the SBG GEO measurement program. You are also familiar with Trimble Business Center and have experience working in VA-banken and EttNoll. If you have also worked with machine control, such as MOBA and Trimble, we view this very positively. Experience with CallReport and Leica Infinity is an advantage.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious. You enjoy both independent work and collaboration with others in a project environment. You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, have good knowledge of English, and hold a Category B driver's license for manual transmission.
