Ragn-Sells is now looking for an agricultural sales representative for Agro Mitt, based in the Mälardalen region.

Job Description

Agro Mitt is a department with 14 employees working towards the agricultural sector, with a special focus on recycling nutrients by spreading sewage sludge on arable land. Our main customers are wastewater treatment plants and farmers.

As a sales representative, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and developing good customer relationships with farmers. Your main task is to return sewage sludge and lime to agricultural land in the region through proactive sales and personal visits. You will be responsible for planning, processing, and quoting deals, as well as coordinating deliveries and following up on them. In addition to farmers, you will interact with authorities, drivers, and spreading contractors.

The tasks are varied and include administrative work, telephone contact, and participation in farmer meetings and trade fairs. Some practical tasks such as soil and salmonella sampling may be included. The role involves extensive car travel within your work area in the Mälardalen region. You will be part of a small sales team where collaboration and understanding of each other's work are important.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are an agronomist, estate manager, have equivalent education, or experience from Swedish agriculture. We would like you to have a few years of work experience from the agricultural sector and thus a good understanding of practical farming.

You are comfortable working in Excel and other digital tools. As a person, you are structured and capable of handling multiple tasks in parallel. The pace can sometimes be high, which makes good communication and teamwork important. You need to be able to work independently and prioritize quickly when necessary.

For the role, it is required that you can communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

To thrive in the role, you should be flexible, team-oriented, and have a strong sense of service. You have a natural interest in meeting people and easily build good relationships. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position involves travel, which requires a driver's license and a car. A company car is available.

Location and Employment Type

The position is located at one of Ragn-Sells' facilities or offices in central or eastern Mälardalen (Uppsala/Västerås/Örebro). The position is permanent and full-time. Ragn-Sells applies a probationary period. Start date is by agreement.
