Eneskolan in Järna is now looking for an engaged and creative craft teacher with a specialization in textiles for our municipal F–9 school, as our current teacher is retiring. Starting from the autumn term, Eneskolan will be one-parallel in grades F-6 and multi-parallel in grades 7-9. The school is in the midst of an exciting and purposeful development process where we together strengthen the quality of teaching, students' achievement of goals, and safety throughout the entire operation.

You will be responsible for the planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of your lessons. You have the ability to build good relationships with your students and adapt your teaching so that every individual student succeeds. You reflect on and analyze your teaching, individually and in collaboration with others, with the aim of continuously developing and growing in your profession.

Who are you?

You are a clear leader while simultaneously creating a safe learning environment for the students. You are responsive, meet students based on their prerequisites, and build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You have clear goals for your teaching and continuously monitor results at both the student and group levels. You take responsibility for and have insight into student results, which means being responsive to each student's prerequisites and needs.

The position involves teaching textile crafts across all school stages. You plan, implement, and follow up on teaching with a focus on creativity, sustainability, and inclusion. The teaching is adapted to the students' ages and prerequisites and takes place in close collaboration with colleagues.

You will work together with a subject colleague, which provides good opportunities for joint planning, experience sharing, and the development of teaching in the subject.

Requirements

• You have a degree and teacher certification in the subject of crafts with a specialization in textiles.
