Sepson is in a strong growth phase and is now looking for a Production Engineer / Process Planner who wants to take overall responsibility for developing working methods, assembly instructions, and production planning in Monitor G5.

About the role

In this role, you are responsible for analyzing products and production flows for our winches and rack systems, ensuring that production has the right prerequisites to manufacture with high quality, correct methodology, and good efficiency.

You work closely with production personnel, engineering, quality, and purchasing, acting as the link between projects, engineering, and production. The role involves operational work where you create documentation, drive standardization, improvements, development of production and assembly processes, final planning, and packaging adaptations.

An important part of the role is to ensure that production documentation, instructions, and plans in Monitor G5 are up-to-date, clear, and adapted for an efficient and quality-assured way of working.

Your main responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve production flows for winches and rack systems
  • Develop and create standardized working methods and assembly instructions
  • Create, update, and quality-assure plans in Monitor G5
  • Structure and maintain operation lists, bills of materials, and manufacturing documentation
  • Ensure that the right tools, aids, and methods are used in production
  • Provide technical support to production regarding assembly and manufacturing
  • Participate in the development of new products and changes to existing products
  • Identify areas for improvement and drive efficiency within assembly
  • Participate in root cause analysis and deviation management, and drive corrective actions
  • Ensure that documentation and instructions are clear, correct, and up-to-date
  • Collaborate with engineering to create manufacturable solutions
  • Contribute to standardization and development of processes within production engineering and planning
  • Assist in the introduction of new working methods and improved assembly techniques
  • Time studies and balancing of assembly flows
  • Practical participation in test assembly and verification
  • Training assemblers in new working methods

We believe you have

  • Experience in production engineering, planning, or production development within manufacturing industry
  • Good technical understanding and experience reading drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience with business systems, preferably Monitor G5
  • Experience creating work instructions and production documentation
  • Understanding of production flows, assembly, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience in improvement work and process development is meritorious
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious experience

  • Experience in mechanical assembly or hydraulic systems
  • Experience with LEAN, 5S, or standardized improvement work
  • Experience with PFMEA, control plans, or quality work
  • Experience with change management in production
  • Experience with Monitor G5
