Special Education Teacher with a Focus on Mathematics in Järfälla

About the Workplace

Iljanbodaskolan and Kolarängskolan are two primary schools that form a single unit. The unit also includes an adapted primary school with approximately 40 students. Kolarängskolan is located in Norra Kallhäll and has grades F-6 with approximately 440 students. Iljansbodaskolan is located in Stäket and has grades F-4 with approximately 130 students.

You will work at a very pleasant unit together with driven and responsible colleagues. We have a well-functioning collegial learning environment, and we focus our development work on improving teaching.

The students achieve good results. Students and staff have good access to digital tools. The climate is characterized by security and a quiet study environment. We have low staff turnover among both employees and school leadership. The municipality's employee survey clearly shows that employees enjoy working at our unit.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified special education teacher with a focus on mathematics.

You are passionate about mathematics and have a strong interest in teaching students in grades 4-6. It is an advantage if you are also confident in teaching Swedish in the same grades.

You are engaged and have a special eye for students who face challenges in the subject. You must be able to teach students individually and in groups. Furthermore, you should be able to support class teachers in the instruction of the subject when needed.

You will also be involved in the analysis of pedagogical investigations and in writing and evaluating action plans. It may become relevant to join the school's student health team.

You will be part of our special education team, where we value sensitivity, flexibility, and a solution-oriented approach.
