About the role

As the link between strategic and operational purchasing, you ensure material availability during critical production phases. You proactively identify risks and drive actions together with both internal teams and external suppliers to create a stable flow.

Responsibilities

The role involves operationally managing and coordinating material supply to prevent disruptions in production through analysis, follow-up, and close collaboration with suppliers and internal departments.

  • Proactively follow up on purchase orders and deliveries to secure material availability
  • Identify material shortages and drive actions and escalation when necessary
  • Analyze root causes behind delivery deviations and late order confirmations
  • Coordinate and drive category meetings from an operational purchasing perspective
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with suppliers regarding delivery precision
  • Develop and update working methods, templates, and processes within sourcing support
  • Identify and highlight risks related to supplier capacity and logistics

We are looking for someone who

  • Has professional experience in purchasing, material planning, or supply chain
  • Has advanced analytical skills and experience working in a data-driven manner
  • Has good ability to coordinate many contact points and drive dialogue with stakeholders
  • Has fluent skills in Swedish and English in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have

  • Knowledge in purchasing or logistics through education
  • Experience from working in manufacturing industry
  • Experience working with quality and structure in RFQ processes
