We are now looking for several automation electricians for long-term onshore projects in Norway.
This is a unique opportunity to strengthen your CV with international experience in industry, energy, and automation – while working according to an attractive rotation schedule with long consecutive periods of leave.
Working Hours & Rotation
The work takes place according to a rotation schedule:
- 14 days work – 21 days off
- Working shifts normally approx. 10–12 hours incl. breaks
- Introduction and training take place on-site at project start
About the Projects
The work takes place in various industrial and energy projects around Norway, including:
- Automation and control systems
- Industry and process plants
- Energy and infrastructure facilities
- Operation, maintenance, and installation
You work in professional project environments together with other electricians, technicians, and foremen where safety and quality are always in focus.
Job Description
As an automation electrician in the projects, you work with installation and automation tasks within industry and energy, such as:
- Installation and connection of automation systems
- Cable pulling and termination of control, signal, and instrument cables
- Assembly of control cabinets, sensors, and electrical equipment
- Loop checks, functional tests, and commissioning
- Troubleshooting, service, and maintenance of automation systems
- Work according to drawings, technical documentation, and safety requirements
You work both independently and in teams together with other professional groups in projects with high demands on safety and quality.
We are looking for you who have
- Vocational certificate or education in automation/electrical
- Valid DSB (Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection)
- Experience as an automation electrician within industry, energy, or similar operations
- Experience in installation, termination, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read drawings and technical documentation
- Fluent spoken/written skills in one of the following languages: Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or English
- Ability to work both independently and in teams
- Flexible and solution-oriented attitude
Courses & Requirements Before Start
Compulsory:
- FSE
- Fallsikring (Fall Protection)
- First Aid
- EX grunnleggende (Basic EX)
- DSB

Housing & Travel Included
You get a complete setup where everything practical is arranged:
- Housing is included for the entire work period
- Travel to and from the project is paid by eLinked
- Rotation with long consecutive leave
- Support from the consultant manager throughout the assignment
Travel usually takes place via Oslo depending on the project's location.
Secure Employment with Collective Agreement
You are employed by eLinked under the Norwegian collective agreement, which gives clear terms and security throughout the assignment.
