A job close to life and death

With us, you build trust and confidence with our customers and act as a guide during a time that for many is filled with grief and uncertainty. Working in funeral services is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's different needs. Some of the tasks for a transporter and funeral celebrant include:

• Acting as a representative in churches and chapels during ceremonies, which entails overall responsibility for ensuring the ceremony meets the customer's order in a satisfactory manner.
• Handling the deceased in preparation for the ceremony.
• Performing pickups of the deceased in private homes and residential facilities.
• Assisting our customers during personal farewells.

To our transport unit in Malmö, which performs pickups of the deceased throughout Scania, we are looking for a new colleague to join our team. The work is currently structured as follows: you work three weeks as a representative during daytime, followed by a transport week where you work as a transporter in the evenings, i.e., every fourth week.

What you bring with you

• Hold a driver's license and have good driving experience with larger vehicles in urban environments.
• Have good physical fitness as several heavy lifts occur in the work.
• Experience in customer-focused work.
• Good administrative skills and familiarity with various business systems are an advantage.
• It is an advantage if you speak several languages or have experience in our or related operations.
