We are expanding and seeking a culinary arts teacher for our restaurant training program in Stockholm (Sollentuna)

About the Job

As a teacher, you hold primary responsibility for the pedagogical content, structure, and implementation of the training program. You are responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the education, ensuring that the instruction aligns with both the participants' prerequisites and the needs of the labor market. You will become a key part of the participants' journey toward independence and employment.

This is a varied role where theoretical lessons are mixed with practical exercises based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum. You will be part of a team with several colleagues in the same field, all working towards the same goal.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and be responsible for the training content, planning, and implementation according to the agreement.
• Evaluate and apply appropriate pedagogy for each participant.
• Mentor and inspire participants through practical and theoretical modules.
• Participate in the selection of participants through testing and assessing their potential.
• Collaborate with the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) and other stakeholders to facilitate participants' path to employment.
• Perform administrative work related to the training.

Who are you?

• Have at least 1 year of full-time professional experience as a chef or in related fields.
• Have at least 2 years of experience teaching adults in the vocational field on a full-time basis (upper secondary school, municipal adult education, and/or labor market training) within the last 6 years.
• Are pedagogical and skilled at adapting teaching to individual needs and prerequisites.
• Have good computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Have experience mentoring or introducing new employees (meritorious).

Employment Type

Permanent position with an initial six-month probation period. Start date by agreement.
