We are expanding and seeking a chef instructor for our restaurant training program in Stockholm (Sollentuna)

About the job

As an instructor, you have primary responsibility for the educational content, structure, and implementation of the course. You are responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the training, ensuring that the teaching aligns with both the participants' prerequisites and the needs of the labor market. You will become a key part of the participants' journey toward independence and employment.

This is a varied role where theoretical lessons are mixed with practical exercises based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum. You will be part of a team with several colleagues in the same field, all working toward the same goal.

Your responsibilities

• Design and be responsible for the content, planning, and implementation of the training according to the agreement.
• Evaluate and apply appropriate pedagogy for each participant.
• Mentor and inspire participants through practical and theoretical modules.
• Participate in the selection of participants through testing and mapping their potential.
• Collaborate with the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) and other actors to facilitate the participants' path to work.
• Perform administrative work related to the training.

Who are you?

• Have at least 1 year of full-time professional experience as a chef or in related fields.
• Have at least 2 years of experience teaching adults in the vocational field on a full-time basis (upper secondary school, municipal adult education, and/or labor market training) within the last 6 years.
• Are pedagogical and skilled at adapting teaching to individual needs and prerequisites.
• Have good computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Have experience mentoring or introducing new employees (meritorious).

Employment type

Permanent position with an initial six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
