Chef de Cuisine á la carte – St. Markus Wine Cellar Restaurant

Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen AB, located in central Malmö, aims to provide our guests with a comprehensive entertainment experience through our diverse range of venues. Here you will find everything from pubs and restaurants to nightclubs, wine cellars, event halls, street food kitchens, and our popular outdoor terrace, Gränden, during the summer months.

We constantly strive to offer our guests that little extra in terms of atmosphere, service, and gastronomic experience. To our St. Markus Wine Cellar Restaurant, part of Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen and primarily serving luxury buffets and classic á la carte dishes, we are now seeking ambitious and dedicated chefs for the upcoming autumn opening.

The role primarily involves traditional cooking from scratch, focusing on meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. We prefer candidates who have worked as chefs for several years and have experience with food preparation through grilling and pan-frying in a relatively fast-paced environment. We value an innovative approach to cooking, while also being comfortable working within a relatively established food concept.

As a person, you are cheerful, ambitious, stress-resistant, and reliable. You are passionate about providing our guests with the absolute best dining experience through your attention to detail and innovative culinary mindset. You have good knowledge of food handling and hygiene, and we require you to have completed a certified food safety course. Furthermore, you are a team player who thrives in a dynamic environment. For the sake of our guests, we prefer that you are snus- and smoke-free.

There is an opportunity to work at other venues within Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen as well, such as Gränden during the summer. For the right candidate, there are excellent development opportunities within our company, potentially leading to a more senior role in the kitchen.

The position is available as full-time, part-time, or on-call. In this role, you will report to the Head Chef.
