The demand for cognitive assessments is increasing, and the clinic has recently expanded its geographical catchment area. We are therefore in an exciting development phase where we are growing and strengthening our team.

We are part of Capio Geriatrics Sollentuna and work in newly renovated and pleasant premises close to Sollentuna center and public transport. The team consists of doctors, nurses, a psychologist, an occupational therapist, and nursing assistants who together conduct specialized cognitive assessments in close multidisciplinary collaboration. As a psychologist here, you will primarily work with neuropsychological assessments in cases of suspected cognitive impairment and cognitive disease.

The responsibilities include, among other things:

• Neuropsychological mapping of cognitive functions such as memory, language, executive functions, and visuospatial ability
• Assessment of factors that may affect cognitive function, such as psychological or social circumstances
• Feedback of assessment results to the team and participation in diagnostic rounds
• Supportive counseling and guidance to patients and relatives as needed
• Opportunity to contribute to the development of patient groups or educational initiatives

The neuropsychological assessment is an important part of the overall diagnostic holistic evaluation.

The field of cognitive diseases is research-intensive and developing rapidly, both regarding diagnostics and treatment. The position is permanent, full-time. We apply a 6-month probationary period.

We are looking for you who are interested in neuropsychological assessments for elderly patients and who want to work in a team where the psychologist's assessment is a central part of the diagnostic holistic evaluation.

You are a licensed psychologist. Experience in neuropsychological testing or working with patients with cognitive impairment is meritorious.

Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
