Do you want to work in a developing team at one of Sweden's best located Sterile Technology units? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

We are a quality-certified operation and have, for the past seven years, moved into Danderyd Hospital's new acute care building, located at the very top of floor 7 with magnificent views of the surroundings. We operate our business on an area of just over 1,700 m², equipped with all the latest technology.

Job Responsibilities

In Sterile Technology, we work with the entire instrument chain, such as washing, packing, and sterilization. We work in teams that rotate through all parts of the operation. Our customers are primarily the operating departments at the hospital, but we also have customers in private and primary care.

Qualifications

• Trained sterile technologist or equivalent competence with experience in sterile technology work.
• It is meritorious if you have professional experience with T-DOC.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

You are calm and stable and recognize the importance of good collaboration with colleagues, other professions, and operations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

About the Department

The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care is characterized by high quality and a stable employee group across all professions. In addition to anesthesia, which consists of four operating departments within surgery/urology, orthopedics, gynecology/obstetrics, day surgery, as well as ENT and Dental anesthesia and external operations, the department also includes postoperative wards, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Pain Clinic, National Respiratory Center (NRC), and Sterile Technology. We are a large department with a total of approximately 400 employees. Approximately 24,000 anesthetics are performed annually in about 25 operating rooms. Our mandate also includes education, clinical research, and development.
