Södra School is an independent primary school that today offers education from preschool class to grade 9 with approximately 395 students. Södra School is part of the CIS Group and is centrally located in Kalmar.

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist training in open healthcare, healthcare for children and young people, or school nursing. You are capable of and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively. You are interested and engaged in issues concerning children and young people and strive to view matters from a holistic perspective.
You will thrive with us if you:

- enjoy being a key person who collaborates at all levels of the organization with students, parents, and colleagues,
- are motivated by development and are relationship builders.
You must be a licensed nurse with specialist training in healthcare for children and young people, or alternatively have training as a district nurse or school nurse.
In your role as a school nurse at Södra School:
- you are part of the student health team,
- you participate in meetings and, based on your professional competence, act as a link between the school's staff and the student health service regarding individual students,
- you plan and implement promoting and preventive measures at the individual and group levels,
- you plan and conduct staff training initiatives,
- you conduct health conversations, vaccinations, actively work on issues concerning students' work environment, the school's value base, and our focus area EQ, perform basic healthcare interventions, and assist with reception together with the school doctor,
- you are an important link in collaborations with homes, school, and other societal actors such as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), social services, and the hospital's child health center.
