Stora Sköndal is located right next to Lake Drevviken, and you can get here by bus in about 10 minutes from Gullmarsplan. In the summer, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature.

We are now looking for assistant nurses for our residence for younger people with dementia, called Björkgården.

Together with dedicated colleagues, your main task is to provide support and create a meaningful everyday life for those living here. We also place great emphasis on supporting relatives.

Teamwork for good quality
We work in teams around the resident with assistant nurses, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to offer health-promoting care and support of very high quality. This also means you have secure support from colleagues, both care staff and other professional roles.

Your role

Your main task is to provide good person-centered care and support that gives our residents a secure and meaningful everyday life.

You are closest to our residents, and your competence and dedication are crucial for the quality of care and support. This also means that you adapt to different situations and to the wishes and needs of the residents.

We place great importance on good, situation-adapted treatment, where you work in every meeting to do that little extra. You handle certain medical care tasks based on delegation from the nurse.

At Björkgården, we constantly work on developing the contact person concept to create good relationships with the resident and their relatives to create security and a meaningful existence.

As an employee at Björkgården, activities are a large part of the working day to contribute to increased stimulation and well-being for our residents, it can be everything from walks, singing sessions, and excursions. The operation has a minibus that is used frequently.

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and have experience working in care with people with dementia. It is meritorious if you are a Silvia nurse or have other equivalent competence.

You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills.
