Well-staffed psychiatric clinic in the city center, with high ceilings and a pleasant atmosphere, is looking for a psychiatrist who appreciates clear structures, thrives in interdisciplinary teams, and contributes to collegial support and an open working climate.

Specialist Psychiatric Clinic 3 at S:t Eriksplan is an outpatient clinic for the assessment and treatment of patients with psychiatric issues at a specialist level. The clinic is located at S:t Eriksplan in Vasastan and belongs to the City section within Northern Stockholm Psychiatry. At the clinic, we have just over 25 employees with extensive experience and broad competence. Here, doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, care assistants, and medical secretaries work together. The clinic has six specialist physician positions.

At the clinic, we value short decision-making paths, well-being, and continuity across all professional groups. We work together in two interdisciplinary teams and place great value on efficient diagnostic conferences and smooth collaboration between professional categories. As part of our specialized mission within neuropsychiatry, we offer patient and relative training for ADHD both digitally and on-site.

Responsibilities

As a specialist physician, you will meet patients for diagnosis, assessment, and treatment, and will have regular opportunities to consult with medical colleagues or other professional categories when cases require it. If needs arise and space allows, supervision of colleagues, staff, and students may be included in your duties. We assess and treat both neuropsychiatric issues and potential comorbidities after determining the appropriate level of care. As a specialist with us, general psychiatric core competence is combined with specialization in neuropsychiatry. We have a process-oriented approach where assessment and treatment are based on national guidelines and regional care programs. Opportunities for internal and external training are available regarding neuropsychiatry and other areas.

Opportunities to work for shorter periods within the clinic's inpatient care exist. We also view patient participation and collaboration with neighboring care providers as very important.

Qualifications

Licensed physician, specialist in psychiatry. Special interest in neuropsychiatry is meritorious but not a requirement. We want you, as the applicant for the position, to be engaged, flexible, and have good collaboration skills.

Full-time, permanent employment, start date by agreement.

- Register checks are applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.

- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
