AREA MANAGER FOR RENTAL HOUSINGS

As an Area Manager for Property Management, you will play an important role in the transformation journey that has now begun.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now looking for a driven Manager/Area Manager at Hyresbostäder. We are looking for you who want to help build the future in Norrköping.

The role involves extensive contact with our tenants as well as contractors and other partners, which places high demands on your communication and pedagogical skills. It is important to be able to handle different people and always maintain a professional attitude in order to maintain and develop our customer satisfaction goals. Actively working on safety issues and the experience of presence in our areas is an important part of the job.

You are responsible for managing a varied portfolio of properties and associated land areas. In your daily work, you also focus on planning property maintenance and conducting move-out and maintenance inspections. You are responsible for the operational results of the properties, the area's economy, and have frequent contact with operational staff and contractors.

The position places high demands on leadership skills and the ability to tackle the challenges in the area together with your property management colleagues, working long-term to ensure our tenants feel safe and happy with us.

WHAT YOU BRING

You have solid knowledge and experience from the property industry, preferably combined with relevant education. You have several years of experience in operational and budget responsibility as well as strategic work linked to business understanding. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in a leading role.

You have a relevant post-secondary education and knowledge of property maintenance needs regarding external and internal care, and you can understand and perform self-control according to the property owner's responsibility. You need to have good knowledge of contract law, contract monitoring, and procurement.

You want to make a difference and contribute to preventive work related to safety issues in our areas. You are also knowledgeable in property technology and quality-conscious in your approach. As a person, you have a good ability to independently plan, execute, and follow up on work in the area. You are committed to your assignment and act with consideration for people, taking proactive responsibility for your work. Furthermore, you are business-minded, customer-oriented, and create effective networks both within and outside the organization.

Your leadership qualities are important, and you are used to leading and driving improvements forward. You thrive in a broad role where you work both independently and in teams.

We see that you have the ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Additional language skills are also excellent as they increase your opportunities to provide even better service to our customers. For this position, you need a B driver's license and access to your own car.
