About the role

We are looking for an engaged IT Technician to join Unibase!

As an IT Technician, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of customers' IT environments
• Work with servers, Active Directory, networks, storage, virtualization, backup, and cloud services
• Manage administration of Microsoft 365 environments
• Participate in projects involving on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid solutions

You will become an important part of both our and the customer's team, contributing to delivering stable and efficient IT solutions.

Your tasks may consist of the following (depending on the assignment):

Operations and Management:

• Manage operating systems (Linux Server OS, Windows Server)
• Script and automate processes (PowerShell, Python)
• Administer Microsoft 365 environments
• Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware)
• Work with cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Azure)
• Handle physical server solutions and storage systems

Backup and Recovery:

• Ensure backup of systems and data
• Implement and monitor backup strategies

Database Management:

• Monitor and maintain databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Handle solutions for high availability and disaster recovery

Network and Security:

• Maintain networks and firewalls, and troubleshoot as needed
• Handle VPN solutions
• Implement security measures (antivirus, encryption, monitoring)

Other:

• Seek new solutions and improvements within IT infrastructure
• Keep up to date with new trends and technologies

Desirable Experience

It is positive if you have experience with:

• Containerization and DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD integration with GitLab
• ITIL v4 certification
• Certifications in networking, cloud services, security, or operating systems (e.g., MCSA, Azure, CCNA, CompTIA Security+)

Your Background

We are looking for you who have:

• Experience working in 1st & 2nd Line Support
• Experience and knowledge of Azure, server, and network administration
• Post-secondary education in IT infrastructure or equivalent experience
• Interest in troubleshooting and optimizing IT systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
