You will become part of a technically advanced environment within the defense industry where textile and mechanical products are developed for maintenance and support systems. Here, you work closely with design and development teams throughout the entire chain, from needs analysis and concept to finished product and manufacturing documentation. • You develop concept solutions based on requirement profiles and translate needs into well-thought-out designs.
• You design and construct textile and mechanical products within Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
• You create 2D drawings and 3D models in Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Mechanical.
• You develop complete manufacturing documentation for prototype and series production.
• You ensure that the designs meet requirements regarding material selection, function, performance, aesthetics, maintainability, chemical content, and manufacturability.
• You collaborate closely with specialist functions throughout the development process and contribute to technical trade-offs and improvements.

• Several years of experience in design and product development.
• Experience in the development of textile products and materials.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience with Autodesk Mechanical.
• Experience in creating manufacturing documentation.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver’s license (Category B).
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship; dual citizenship is not accepted).

• Experience with Vault or other PDM systems.
• Experience with aviation safety equipment.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance equipment or other aviation equipment.
