Description

We are looking for a Social Secretary specializing in children and youth for the IFO unit (Interventions for Children and Young People). This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Social Services are looking for a new colleague. We are looking for you who are a social worker and preferably have experience in investigation and intervention work regarding children, young people, and their families. Since the social office is a small workplace, every employee is a crucial part of the whole operation. Therefore, great importance is placed on personal suitability.

You should be able to work independently but also collaborate well with colleagues and external partners. Flexibility and comfort with a wide variety of tasks are important. It is vital that you are responsible, stress-resistant, curious, and enjoy meetings with people and social work.

We work with support from the Social Services Act (SoL), the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the LVU legislation. The daily work primarily involves investigative work, but also receiving reports and applications.

As far as possible, social secretaries work in pairs, with access to close supervision and external guidance.

Requirements:

  • Social work degree (Social Work)
  • Knowledge of current legislation
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
  • Good teamwork and initiative skills

Merits:

  • Experience from authority enforcement within IFO
  • Knowledge and experience of BBIC (Barns Behov i Centrum / Children's Needs in Focus)
  • Other knowledge-related training
  • Category B driver's license
