Temporary Care Assistant for Home Care in Tärendö

Job Responsibilities

The work takes place in ordinary housing at the users' homes. You will work independently but in close collaboration with colleagues, as well as in teamwork with nurses, occupational therapists, and assistance coordinators. We work based on IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus). The work consists of supporting, supervising, and providing care and service to our home care users. Medical tasks are performed upon delegation by a nurse. The role also includes administrative duties such as documentation.

The home care service in Tärendö is responsible for all users with safety alarms in our area, which means safety alarm monitoring and readiness are also part of the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Care assistant (undersköterska) or similar education.
• Experience in elderly care is an advantage.
• Personal suitability is highly valued.
• Requirement to pass the knowledge test for medication and insulin delegation.
• Category B driver's license is required.
