On-Call Alarm Operator
Are you looking for a meaningful and developmental on-call position, perhaps alongside your studies?
We are now looking for more hourly employees for our alarm desk who want to work at least every other weekend during the terms. Training starts in September and October.
Your new challenge
The alarm center at Verisure Securitas Direct is the core of our operations, and as an alarm operator, you play a vital and decisive role. When an alarm is triggered, your top priority is to create a sense of security for our customers. You are expected to act by analyzing alarm signals and contacting the customer. During ongoing calls, you collaborate with colleagues and external resources such as the police, rescue services, and ambulance. This is a responsible role at the center of the action where you truly make a difference in people's lives. Receiving incoming calls to answer questions and support customers is also a daily part of the role. Good teamwork skills are essential as you will work closely with your colleagues.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in customer service and is accustomed to delivering good service
- Is empathetic, sensitive, and confident as a person. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, such as during active alarm incidents.
- Has good computer skills and experience working in business systems
- Has good technical understanding
- Is a joy-bringer and thrives working in a high-paced team

Do you want to become part of our team?
The position is an on-call role located in pleasant premises in Linköping. As an alarm operator, you are required to work on-site at the office. An on-call position means you receive a basic schedule for every other weekend and can also work on an ad-hoc basis to support our regular staff at the alarm center. This type of employment is ideal for those who want a side job alongside other commitments, such as studies. The employment begins with a mandatory operator training scheduled for evenings and weekends over 3 weeks, followed by a mentorship period of at least 10 working shifts.
After training, you will be scheduled for every other weekend as a baseline.
The basic requirement for employment is that you are at least 18 years old. You must also have fluent Swedish skills, both spoken and written. As we are a certified security company, no entries in the criminal record are accepted, so a security check via the County Administrative Board and a credit check (UC) are conducted. You must also have full color vision.
