About the position

We are currently seeking assistant nurses and care aides for temporary hourly positions in our elderly care residences and within the home care service. There are a total of 23 positions available.

Responsibilities

Your duties as an assistant nurse or care aide involve providing a good quality of life to our users based on a person-centered approach. The work primarily consists of care and support tasks, as well as providing social support and guidance.

Service tasks such as cleaning and laundry are also included. You must be able to work both independently and in collaboration with others in the team. We use various digital tools, so you are expected to have knowledge of how to use digital technology and be familiar with using computers for daily documentation. We use the business system Pulsen Combine.

Working hours are flexible based on operational needs and your preferences. Our operations run 24/7.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Assistant nurse education or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • A positive, engaged, and responsible person with good empathetic skills.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as communication and documentation are important parts of the job.
  • A valid B-driver's license is required for work in home care and night shifts.
  • Assistant nurses must provide a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding the protected professional title.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, maturity, and teamwork skills.

The position is a fixed-term employment. Jokkmokk Municipality strives for a balanced gender distribution as well as ethnic and cultural diversity. Knowledge of the Sami language and Sami culture is considered an asset.
