Do you want to contribute to the development of Lidl's stores? Do you have experience from contracting companies or construction management? We are growing steadily towards our goal of 300 stores and are now looking for an engaged procurement specialist who wants to be responsible for tendering contractors, negotiating framework agreements, and optimizing our construction costs.

Your role

As a procurement specialist, you will become part of a motivated team of five people at our headquarters in Barkarby. Our department is responsible for the design and tendering of both new stores and renovations of existing ones. The operations are divided into three regions (Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö) that are operationally responsible for building the stores on site. Your most important task is to support our construction project managers across the country and give them the right commercial prerequisites to drive their projects to completion.

You will work with varied tasks such as:

• Being responsible for tendering contractors for new builds and renovations of stores
• Tendering and negotiating framework agreements for various disciplines and materials (e.g., doors, suspended ceilings, or store fixtures)
• Monitoring construction costs, commercial terms, and ensuring high construction quality together with the project team

In your role, you report to the Head of Construction Department.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have at least 5 years of experience in the construction or real estate industry and a relevant education (or equivalent knowledge acquired from working life). You thrive when things are happening, work independently, and have no problem making your own business decisions. You have a structured way of working, are meticulous, and have a natural ability to prioritize the right things. Since the role involves a lot of collaboration, we see that you are a team player with a coaching approach.

We are also looking for you who:

• Have good knowledge of contracting law (AB 04, ABT 06, and ABK 09)
• Have strong negotiation skills and experience in driving commercial processes
• Can read drawings, understand technical descriptions, and have good knowledge of construction and installations
• Express yourself very well in Swedish and English in both speech and writing. German is an asset, but not a requirement
• Have a B driver's license
