As a Business Controller here, you will play a vital role in contributing to development and long-term sustainability across the entire county. You will work closely with operations, focusing on analysis, follow-up, and decision support – playing a central role in turning numbers into insights that ensure the best possible use of resources within healthcare, services, and support.

About the Procurement Unit
The Procurement Unit supports the political organization of Region Jämtland Härjedalen, the Regional Director, and the Heads of Healthcare. We are a team of seven employees working with commissioned healthcare and dental care, physiotherapists on the National Tariff, and regional dental support. Together, we are an engaged and non-hierarchical team that values collaboration, well-being, and having fun at work.

Responsibilities
As a Business Controller within the Procurement Unit, you will have a central role in driving development, quality, and follow-up.
In this role, you will among other things:
- develop and improve operational follow-ups
- analyze and evaluate results to support decision-making
- work with quality issues that lead to concrete improvements in procurement, follow-up, and operations
- initiate development work in collaboration with experts and operations linked to our agreements
- manage and further develop IT support related to the assignment
You work both independently and in close collaboration with healthcare providers, partners, and colleagues. The role is partly shaped based on operational needs and your experience. Additionally, you will perform tasks as agreed with the Procurement Manager.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and proactive, with a good ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with others. You need to be flexible and able to switch between tasks of varying nature and complexity.
You have a well-developed service mindset, are receptive, and meet others with a non-hierarchical and humble attitude. Furthermore, you must communicate clearly and be able to convey advice and guidance in a trust-building manner.
Formal Requirements
- University education within healthcare
- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English
- Very good administrative skills, including experience in producing, processing, and managing governing documents and contracts
Great importance is attached to personal suitability and teamwork skills.
