We need to expand our team and are looking for licensed nurses with experience, a genuine interest in professional healthcare advice, and who want to help shape our brand-new role as a Nurse with Management Responsibilities.

There is an opportunity for permanent part-time employment and work on an hourly basis.

About the role

In the role of Nurse with Management Responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to use your broad clinical competence to provide our patients with qualified healthcare advice and triage. This means supporting nursing staff via telephone, assessing care needs, and prioritizing interventions based on the patient's symptoms and situation. You will perform assessments and make decisions on actions in both planned and acute situations. The role includes managerial responsibility for workplace environment-related matters for all Attendos operations in Sweden, acting as the first point of contact when something happens.

This is a role for you who enjoys varied work, supporting different operations within Säbo (Services and Support for People with Disabilities), home care, LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and social psychiatry in health and medical care issues. This involves contact with both nursing staff and nurses within Attendo, as well as external actors. You will become a key person for the nursing staff in support and guidance regarding HSL interventions. The work is based out of our office in Gothenburg.

Main responsibilities

  • Support and supervision of nursing staff in healthcare matters via telephone.
  • Triage over the phone.
  • Coordination and resource allocation of healthcare interventions.
  • External contact with, for example, doctors and ambulance services.
  • Document interventions and communicate with other healthcare providers in electronic journals in accordance with current laws and guidelines.
  • Managerial responsibility for workplace environment-related matters for our operations as the first point of contact when something happens.

Who are you?

As a person, you wholeheartedly want to provide high-quality and safe care. You are communicative, independent, and humble, with the ability to prioritize. You are naturally service-oriented in your work approach, have good collaboration skills, and an interest in development issues. You are solution-oriented and responsible. You should have worked for a few years as a nurse and be confident in your role.

Qualifications

  • Nurse with a Swedish nursing license.
  • Documented experience working in elder care, e.g., in home care, special housing, on a care ward, or in short-term care operations.
  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • Computer literacy and a very good ability to learn digital systems, such as digital journal and reporting systems.

Advantageous if you also have:

  • Specialization in geriatrics, district nursing, or psychiatry.
  • Experience working in home care, emergency care, or psychiatry.
  • Experience in supervision.
  • Documented experience working within LSS or psychiatry.

Requirements:

  • Licensed nurse.
  • At least three years of professional experience, preferably in elder care.
  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Employment type: Permanent part-time and hourly employment

Workload: Approx. 75% but flexible, plus hours as needed

Working hours: On-call shifts, evenings/nights, weekends, and daytime on public holidays
