The Role of Anaesthetic Nurse

As an anaesthetic nurse, you are responsible for administering anaesthesia and monitoring patients scheduled for surgery or undergoing certain examinations/treatments. Good interpersonal skills are important in teamwork and patient contact. The role includes accompanying ambulance transports and working in postoperative care. It is a varied job with high demands for flexibility and initiative. It is important that you are passionate about your profession, thrive in a varied and non-hierarchical climate, and wish to contribute to our high quality of care and positive team atmosphere.

This position is a permanent full-time employment, with a start date to be agreed upon.

The Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care is one of Höglandssjukhuset's largest departments, with approximately 200 employees within intensive care, anaesthesia, surgical care, day surgery, sterile technology, and healthcare administration.
